Finally! Ray Boltz now has his songs "out there"and has made a new entry to his "blog." Ray has put his lyrics plainly visible for nearly all the songs, as well as explanations for several of them. I think if you take a look, and as you listen, you will be touched.

Carol, Please post a link to the blog. :)
Very cool. I'll go check out Ray's blog.
By the way, I'm not sure what kind of control you have over the Google ads that get appended to your posts, but you might want to see if you can get rid of the ad for the so-called "survey" that I'm currently seeing. It's an obvious anti-gay piece whose "survey questions" are all designed to incite people and push them to answer the questions the way the creator wants them to.
Jarred - the ads are sometimes local, sometimes anti-gay, and I have no control over them. I haven't decided for sure whether or not to keep them, but I do get a small income (very small).
I checked the Blogger help forum, and no one has answered a similar question on how to remove an undesirable ad from a blog. I know Joe.My.God has done it, but maybe because he makes some serious revenue from his ads. We just need to be sure NOT to click it!
Ray has a great start on his new blog. I'd like to see the lyrics in writing. Are they available anywhere?
I have found the "Competitive Ad Filter" and added the offensive survey to the blocked list. I hope it takes effect soon - but I DID fill out the survey in order that they have MY input: Equal rights for gay people. :)
Birdie - the lyrics are "typed" as you listen to the songs. It makes people have to listen at least once to the song, in case they want to be critical. For others, he puts up comments about how he wrote the song, others he does the lyrics.
Carol: I was just catching up on others' blogs and noticed that my soon-to-be new pastor just touched on Ray's story on one of his most recent blog entries. Check it out, if you're interested: http://ephphatha-poetry.blogspot.com/2010/05/telling-truth-about-homosexuality.html. It's a fairly positive piece. :) -Jon
